Sometimes you have a hobby that requires a specific location to practice it. That could be basketball, where you need rings, or dancing, which requires a large enough floor and appropriate music. Finding a place and time where you can enjoy your hobby often requires visiting many sites in search of an event which you can join. A lot of work, and you need to do it over and over again. So why not automate that?
That is where Calendar Aggregator came from; a small application that scrapes websites using regular expression, subscribing to a ical feed, or manuals event can be added, and all these dates on all the websites are aggregated into one set. That the user can view in a simple list, or include in their own digital calendar.
